Magee Championship

This was probably one of the most evenly matched championship games I can remember taking place, since my first time playing many moons ago. The #1 seed taking on the #2 seed. Both coming off of impressive wins, both knowing what they have to do to win.

The match got started quickly as the Gray team put up 4 quick runs in the first inning. Little did we know, those 4 runs would be all that was needed for a championship. Through a combination of fantastic base running, well placed kicked, and overall impeccable defense, the Gray team would not be stopped. They were able to add another run in the 4th, gave up a run in the 5th, and then put 2 more on in the bottom of the 6th.

Needing just 3 outs in the top of the 7th to earn their PSL kickball championship, the Gray team buckled down, stood tall, and watched the white team fall 1, 2, 3.

And just like that, after many seasons of trying, the Matt B. led Charcoal team won their PSL championship, and a blogger was here to fulfill his promise to a friend in Erin W. that he thought would very much happen.

Congrats to the Gray team. Due to their win, we will stick with Gray themed background for this years template.
